In October 2024, Zoey went to the doctor to have a lump in her breast examined. After months of appointments and testing, she received the heartbreaking news that the lump was cancerous. Shortly after, the doctors recommended she begin chemotherapy as soon as possible, with chemo treatment spanning over a 6-month period. One of the hardest aspects of this journey, beyond the physical challenges, is keeping her close friends and family updated. To allow Zoey to focus on her recovery, her friends have kindly volunteered to provide frequent updates here on this website. We wanted to let everyone know what's happened already, what's needed, and what's to come. As her community, we really want to make peace of mind a priority for Zoey's recovery so let's eliminate some of the day to day decisions and financial burdens this journey is about to bring!
