On December 30, 2025, Kiarra "Kiwi" Bautista was a passenger in a car collision at Tranquility Circle in Livermore, CA. Since the accident, Kiwi has undergone several surgeries and procedures. The current medical diagnosis is a "severely damaged spinal cord" , causing paralyses from the neck down with ventilator support. We've created this page to assist our beloved church family while they continue 24/7 hospital care for Kiwi. The family is taking shifts between their home in Antioch to Eden Medical Center in Castro Valley. In the words of Kiwi's Dad, Pastor Marlon, "a medical diagnosis can describe what is happening in your body right now, but it cannot measure the size of God, and it cannot write the final chapter of your story." We praise and thank God that His steadfast love never ceases, and His mercies are new every morning. (Lam 3:22-23). We pray and believe in faith that God's limitless power will continue to heal and strengthen Kiwi and the family according to His sovereign will.
Since there is no refrigerator space or other way to keep food in the ICU, it is requested that ALL food/grocery related deliveries (to the hospital) take place only once a day during the morning hour of 9 am - 10 am. This delivery shall be sufficient for the day. The Bautista family is rotating shifts. One in the hospital during the day, while others at work or home. DoorDash and visa gift cards (for gas, etc..) is also appreciated.
