In June our sweet 9 year old Olivia Jane Pelletier was diagnosed with stage 2b Hodgekins Lymphoma. Over the next 6 months she will be receiving treatment in Boston between Dana Farber and Boston Children’s Hospital. Each treatment is about a week long process and during that time Olivia, her mom and dad are staying at The Boston House so they don’t have to drive back and forth to Maine each day. Being away from home is hard and worrying about what to make or order for dinner is something that we can all help with. We created this page to give everyone the opportunity to gift the family meals while they stay in Boston during Olivia’s treatment.
Currently Olivia loves spaghetti and meatballs and cheeseburgers. We are trying to make sure she gets lots of protein to help her stay strong while in treatment. Some of you know a loved one who’s been treated for Cancer and know how hard it is. Digestion and appetite can be heavily impacted during treatment so gift cards to local supermarkets are helpful to provide supplemental foods that can help with an upset stomach are also greatly appreciated.
