Hello, I'm a single mother. Currently financially struggling. Working a PT job while my son goes to school and working odd jobs when I am able to find them. We are currently staying in a hotel and it's super expensive and making it IMPOSSIBLE to save up anything let alone being able to afford keeping our safe and warm place to sleep. I am asking for help, which is really hard for me to do, in possibly anything such as helping us towards our room, a place to call our own, and things such as groceries, clothes, personal hygiene things, and clothing for my son. He is amazing and we've been through so much. We don't have family, as we've lost those who we were dear and close with. My mom, my father, and grandmother all suddenly went to heaven all in the past 4 years. With my dad and grandma both leaving us last year. Right now, anything helps TREMENDOUSLY and while I am looking for a second job, I have no transportation and no daycare so working as many hours possible at my current job just isn't cutting it. I am currently on wait-lists and basically annoying every non profit and housing assistance program in my area but having no such luck. I am staying strong, focused, and positive as much as humanly possible. I am hoping to find a job where I can work remote and be able to work while my son is not in school so that I can make more money to get us in our own stable and actual home.
I am asking for any kind of help. The hotel can be paid directly, I can get food and clothing items at Walmart, Meijer, Kroger, and / or target. Those are all within 3 miles of us and we can walk to those places. I only have cashapp. Gift cards can be emailed because I am not sure if we will be here, at the hotel we're at, to receive anything mailed. Although I am able to have us here right now, I am unable to always pay for our room and that leaves us with nowhere to go and receive mail.
