Our sweet Lenora Wren made her arrival early at 28.6 weeks. She had to be delivered sooner than expected due to growth restriction caused by placental insufficiency. While this wasn’t the plan, Lenora has already shown just how strong and resilient she is—she is doing amazingly well, and we are so thankful. As you can imagine, this journey comes with many unknowns and a long road ahead. Lindsey is currently out of work on maternity leave, which is unfortunately unpaid, and her heart is where any mother’s would be—right by Lenora’s side in the NICU each and every day. Chase is balancing work while also spending as much time as possible at the hospital, going back and forth daily to support both Lindsey and their baby girl. With the constant travel, long days, and time spent at the hospital, everyday needs like gas and meals quickly add up.
