Meal Train for Andrew, Shaela & Family

Story

Hello sweet family, dear friends, and even those we've never had the privilege of meeting. This is my precious baby sister, Shaela, her husband Andrew, and their beautiful children: Natalie (14), Bradley (13), and Nova (1). Over the past several months, Andrew's health has unexpectedly and rapidly declined. What began as unexplained symptoms has led to countless doctor visits, hospital stays, tests, and appointments—yet they still have very few answers. Just a short time ago, Andrew was working hard to provide for his family, playing with his children, and living life as usual. Today, he faces significant physical limitations, often struggling with basic daily tasks and limited mobility. Along with the physical challenges come the emotional and mental burdens of navigating an uncertain future. If you know Andrew, you know that his family is his entire world. He has devoted his life to loving, protecting, and providing for them. Throughout his life, he has faced and overcome challenges that most people could never imagine, meeting each one with determination and perseverance. Yet this season has brought a different kind of battle—one without clear answers or a path forward. Andrew recently described this experience as a nightmare. One of his greatest struggles is not his own suffering, but the burden he feels this places on Shaela and their children. Like any devoted husband and father, he would give anything to shield his family from hardship. As they wait for additional testing, specialist appointments, and hopefully answers, they are walking through one of the most difficult seasons of their lives. The questions are many, and the road ahead remains unclear. During this time, we are asking our community to come alongside them with love, prayer, encouragement, and practical support. With Andrew's limited mobility, much of the daily responsibility now falls on Shaela as she continues to work full-time, and cares for Andrew, their children, and their household. One simple but meaningful way to help is by providing a meal for their family. If you are able, please consider signing up for their meal train. Your kindness will help ease some of the daily burdens and allow them to focus on what matters most—Andrew's health, their family, and finding answers. Most of all, we ask for your prayers. Please pray for wisdom for the medical team, clarity and answers, healing for Andrew, strength for Shaela, and peace and comfort for Natalie, Bradley, and Nova as they walk through this alongside their parents. Thank you for surrounding this family with love during such a difficult season. Every prayer, meal, message, and act of kindness is a reminder that they are not walking this road alone. With love and gratitude, Kaila
