Hi. I'm Elaine! Never in a million years did I think I would be reaching out and asking strangers for help. I have always been the giver to strangers, the unhoused, charities, churches, etc. In 2024, I was involved in a horrific accident that basically crushed the left side of my body and I survived bedridden for over 6 months, plus rehab. I can't tell you how blessed I feel to be alive. This situation caused a catastrophic swift from the my norms and slowly depleting resources. Housing became an issue. I became Murphy's Law's perfect muse. "If it can go wrong, it will" and it did. So today I live alone on deminished income and high inflation. Food insecurity is a real crisis. I am see a little bit of light at the end of a long tunnel, but in the meantime asking for little bit of help for a short time through a tough time. I pray that I can get back to work soon. Thank You!
