Help Bring Michelle (Mikki) Lanphear Home To Louisiana

Story

Michelle “Mikki” Lanphear is one of those people who lights up every room she enters. With her spunk, her charisma, and her big heart, Mikki has made friends everywhere she’s gone. Now, after a lifetime of giving love to others, she needs our help with one simple, powerful wish: to go home to Louisiana. ________________________________________ Full story Michelle “Mikki” Lanphear is loved by everyone who knows her. She’s the kind of woman who remembers your story, asks about your family, and makes you laugh even on the hard days. Her spunk, her warmth, and her natural charisma have created little circles of love everywhere she’s lived. But home, for Mikki, has always been Louisiana. Right now, Mikki is about 1,700 miles away from her home state. She is retired, living on a fixed income, and facing the reality that getting home on her own simply isn’t possible. She is doing this journey alone, but she shouldn’t have to feel alone in it. Mikki is a mother to one beloved son and a proud grandmother to two beautiful grandchildren. They miss her deeply, and she misses them. She dreams of being close enough to hug them on ordinary days, to show up for birthdays and school events, and to spend the time together that you simply can’t get back once it’s gone. Her family, her roots, and her sense of “home” are all waiting for her in Louisiana. This fund is to help Michelle “Mikki” Lanphear get home. Your donation will go toward the practical costs of getting her from where she is now back to Louisiana—things like travel, moving her belongings, and any support she needs to make that transition safely and comfortably. Every contribution, big or small, brings her one step closer to the people and place she loves. If Mikki has touched your life with her kindness, her humor, or just her presence, this is a chance to give something back. And even if you’ve never met her, your generosity can help reunite a grandmother, a mother, and a much-loved friend with the home she has been longing to return to. Thank you for helping bring Mikki home to Louisiana. 🔥 TRIBE ANNOUNCEMENT — LET’S BRING MIKKI HOME & GET READY FOR OUR FIRST EVER BBQ GATHERING 🔥 Family… it’s time to turn the energy back UP. And to mark this moment in our tribe’s history… **I’m creating official 2026 Tribe T shirts with our slogan: ✨ “WE SHINE BRIGHTER TOGETHER” ✨** These shirts will be ready for the BBQ, and right now, the most important step is helping her get back to Louisiana safely and comfortably.
