Help support the Brown Family and Marcus’s ALS journey

Davenport, FL

Story

A message from Marcus below. He needs our help and we need to show up for him and his family as they navigate this new reality. Anything you can do no matter how big or small will be greatly appreciated. Hello Everyone! First and foremost thank you for visiting my page! What I thought was an injury that could be potentially pinched nerves turned out to be a diagnosis far worse and unexpected. After a series of tests including blood work, MRI’s, scans, and an EMG test, I have been diagnosed with ALS. I have had almost a month to process this and I have accepted it. I’ve been through all of the emotions and cried plenty of tears. I have a huge support group of family and friends ready to help which I am extremely grateful for. I will remain positive and hopeful for a possible misdiagnosis (which we won’t know for months) or for progression to stop, slow down, or reverse. As this new chapter of my life begins I will be giving it all I’ve got to fight this. I know I will be tested in every way mentally, emotionally, and physically, but I will be filled with hope, faith, and a new appreciation for the big and small things life has to offer. Thank you all for all the joy you bring and the smiles and laughter that keep me going. Until we cross paths, keep it simple and smile. God Bless Marcus :_) P.S. If you google it that timeline WILL NOT be me.
