Anything you can do no matter how big or small will be greatly appreciated. Hello Everyone! First and foremost thank you for visiting my page! What I thought was an injury that could be potentially pinched nerves turned out to be a diagnosis far worse and unexpected. After a series of tests including blood work, MRI’s, scans, and an EMG test, I have been diagnosed with ALS. I have had almost a month to process this and I have accepted it. I’ve been through all of the emotions and cried plenty of tears. I have a huge support group of family and friends ready to help which I am extremely grateful for. I will remain positive and hopeful for a possible misdiagnosis (which we won’t know for months) or for progression to stop, slow down, or reverse. As this new chapter of my life begins I will be giving it all I’ve got to fight this. I know I will be tested in every way mentally, emotionally, and physically, but I will be filled with hope, faith, and a new appreciation for the big and small things life has to offer.
