Loving the Land Family

Story

If you're visiting this page, it's because you love someone in the Land family. We started this page to help take the burden of every day mealtime decisions, food prep, shopping, and cooking off of the Land family as they confront the health challenges that Tim is facing. With three adults and three littles, tastes and restrictions certainly vary. Coordinating with the family, we have come up with suggestions of donations and a schedule that would work best for them (and prevent food from going to waste!). Please read the "special notes" for the best ways to help! UPDATED 11/17/25 Currently the Land Family has an abundance of groceries. They’re out of space to store everything which is a great problem to have, but we are going to hit the pause button on grocery drop offs. Thank you all for being so generous! Right now the family would benefit from hot dinners a couple of times a week as well as Wawa gift cards to help cover the amount of gas being used traveling back and forth to and from doctors appointments. We have also left "The Basics" as an option, because - well - they're the basics that are always needed! The "Special Notes" section below has been updated as they are well stocked on some things and have added some new things that would be helpful.


Special Notes

IF DROPPING OFF FOOD, PLEASE PLACE ITEMS IN COOLER BY FRONT DOOR. CALENDAR MAY SAY "GROCERIES" OR "THE BASICS", BUT PRE-MADE MEALS ARE ALSO APPRECIATED * We had previously said no bananas, but the boys can eat them so they're okay. * Fruit/Produce - strawberries, lemons, grapes, blueberries, kiwi, cherry tomatoes, cucumbers, baby carrots, pineapple, apples. * Breakfast stuff - Oreo cereal, cinnamon pop tarts, cinnamon toast waffles, mini blueberry pancakes, french toast sticks, sausage links, whole milk. * Specifically for Tim - tea, honey, vanilla pudding cups, high protein yogurt, Oikos protein shakes, caramel/salted caramel yogurt. * Stuff for the picky littles - chicken nuggets, greek yogurt (NO fruit inside), vanilla is perfect, but they also like the "candy" yogurts with cookie dough, smore's etc. Peanut butter pretzels, ketchup, chicken nugget and nacho Lunchables, Funions, SunChips, Doritos, fudge striped cookies, Nutter Butters, Little Debbie Christmas Tree cakes, mango flavored things. * Bigger kid stuff - Little Bites brownies, Belvita cookies, bagels, English muffins, turkey, cheese, strawberries, Sprite Cranberry soda. They are well stocked with Fruit Loops and Sunny D, so no need for that right now. But, Ginger Ale is still a hit. Last, gift cards to McDonald's, Dunkin', and other places like that are great! Also, if making a donation via Venmo, please type “donation” in the ‘what is this for’ box for tax purposes. Thank you so much!
