Special Notes

Chemo-friendly meals are necessary: easy to chew, soft, squishy, high protein, high vegetable, low/moderate carb/starch, low sugar, dairy-free, organic. Ghee and butter are good, just no milk or cheese! Many vegetables are preferred and can be incorporated into soups, veggies, gluten-free/minimally processed pastas, as well as an occasional guilty pleasure of Indian food. For protein, she's eating chicken, salmon, bison, and venison. Any combination of Carrot, beet, parsley, ginger, turmeric, celery, lemon, and cucumber (no fruits or sugars - cancer looooves to feed off glucose.
