Hello everyone. My name is Holly and I have had the pleasure of knowing Sam and Jon for the past 13 plus years. To know these two is to know what true love, compassion and kindness is. They would give their shirts off their back for a complete stranger. Sam had recently been diagnosed with cirrhosis of the liver. This terrible disease also took the life of one of his siblings. If you know me, you know that my father and I went underwent a living liver transplant a few years back. Myself as the donor and my father as the recipient. Unfortunately or ur surgery was not a success, however, thanks to God my father is still with us. If you know anything about a major life saving surgery as this kind, it takes an army to give support during this difficult time. Praise to God Sam and Jon got the life saving call they had been waiting for. Sam is scheduled to receive a new liver today! We pray for the family that is grieving at this time for the loss of their loved one. However, we are greatful that the donor chose to give life during their families time of grief. What a unselfish and honorable choice to make! During the next few weeks this amazing couple will be dealt with alot of unknowns, recovery and stress. My father and I were blessed to have so many rally for us and help us in our time of need. It is my hopes that we could do the same for Sam and Jon. Sam's surgery is going to take place in San Antonio, Texas. This meal train is not like the usual since they will be away from home during the next month or more so doctors can follow his recovery.
