If you're reading this, you most likely know and love our parents, Cheryl and Mike Lassota. They have spent their lives serving others—always the first to lend a hand, show up when someone is in need, or quietly help behind the scenes. Now, they find themselves in a situation where they could use a little support of their own. Our mom recently suffered a severe injury that will require extensive healing, rehabilitation, and significant downtime. This comes after several challenging years that she had just begun to put behind her. Anyone who knows Cheryl knows that sitting still isn't exactly her style. Our greatest hope is that she can focus entirely on healing and getting back to the busy, spunky, and caring woman we all know and love. We also want our dad to be able to focus on caring for her without the added stress of day-to-day responsibilities. At this time, we're not sure when Mom will be returning home. In the meantime, grocery and meal gift cards are the most helpful way to support them. Once she is home, she'll be unable to cook or keep up with the household as she normally would, so we'll update this page with meal opportunities and any additional needs as they arise.
