hi, my name is Amber Nichols I have a great dog named Toto she's my emotional support dog she's helped me through a lot her unfortunately I was recently released from the hospital from having a major heat stroke and almost died I lost my job due to cuts at work then I lost my apartment we had to move in to my car where we had no AC and only one window that worked and the hole time I was more worried about her keeping her cool and hydrated I didn't think about myself because she is my everything I made sure to keep cold water and wet a towel down with water to wipe her down with it and I gave her crushed ice to keep her cool and very cold fruit have her food but one day I was going to my sister to take a shower and I thought I got to her house but it wasn't I walked in like I always did at my sister but it was a older lady's house she ask if she could help me . I guess she new something was off so she called #911 and the first to come was a police officer he asked where I was going I told him my sister's name he said I am friends with her so he called her told her what was going on then EMS showed up Toto my dog was scared she didn't understand what was going on so the office called my sister back and ask if anyone could come get my dog she said yes my nephew and niece went and got her cooled her down and then they took me to the hospital by the time I got there I was unresponsive they put IVs in me wide open with cool fluids and cooling blankets my body temperature was over 110°F I was admitted to ICU put in to a medical induced coma when I woke up I couldn't talk or walk or use my left hand the hospital wanted to let me go right after I woke up to a homeless shelter just to open my bed up my sister said hell no she cant walk or talk so they gave me very lil rehabilitation then my sister gripe at my dad till he said I could stay in his garage I am still not walking normally or talking I can never work again I now wait for a yes or no from disability.i I lost all everything I own because know put up the one window that worked everything me and my dog own unfortunately own clothes kitchen stuff bedding pillows everything going if u could help I would appreciate so much I am still learning to better so I can do videos with me and toto thank u in advance Amber Toto Nichols
