Help for Norma Burton & Family

Ashland, OR

W
Story

Community: Norma Burton is needing our help! Last week she brought her 90 year old ailing mother from the east coast to care for her at home in Ashland. It has been very challenging and time consuming time for Norma and a meal train could greatly help her, Nisha and her mother, Joan during this critical time. Norma and Nisha are gluten and dairy free, while Joan really likes chicken and soups, baked potatoes and rice, casseroles and fish or shrimp - basic American healthy foods. She does not do well with Mexican food, Japanese or Thai. Basic salads, soups, vegetables, chicken and meat are great options to bring over. Please join us in supporting Norma and her family through this incredibly challenging time. Can you find a moment to prepare some healthy meals and drop them off? Let’s band together in loving community support and help Norma in this time of stressful transition!

Special Notes

Address is 285 Wightman St. The apartment building is on the street right across from the SOU football field. It is a large Adobe building that has a big name on the front called Ocean Spray. Their’s is the second apartment. Please park on the street and walk up the sidewalk. Drop off times could really be anytime because someone will always be there with Joan. If per chance they are at a doctors appointment or something, you could leave it on their front porch. If it needs to be in a cold container, you could leave it in an ice chest and they could return that to you later.
