Caylie passed on January 12th after a six-year fight with Stage 4 colon cancer. Her daughter Zoey is my daughter’s friend, and she’s had to grow up too fast. Jason stopped working to care for Caylie, and now they’re grieving while still facing bills and expenses. Sharing to help them focus on healing, not survival. 🤍
Jason shared that they usually eat simple, easy meals, especially now that it’s just the two of them. Comfort foods and kid-friendly dinners are perfect — spaghetti, casseroles, soups, one-pan meals, and similar favorites. No food allergies to worry about.
