Story
Scott was admitted to Piedmont Fayette hospital on February 10th and underwent testing for what he originally thought was an injury from a recent hiking trip. By that Thursday they had diagnosed him with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML). He was transferred on February 18th for more specialized care and has been undergoing chemotherapy at Emory Hospital in Atlanta. The medical team is conducting further testing to identify the specific type of AML he has, which will help them devise the most effective treatment plan. Due to his compromised immune system, Scott cannot receive any flowers or gifts, as even minor disruptions could significantly impact his recovery. Unfortunately, he is also unable to have visitors. However, he is grateful for the ability to spend time with his family, which provides him with comfort and strength. Scott truly appreciates the overwhelming support and prayers from everyone, and it means a lot to him during this difficult journey.
