Special Notes

Thank you so much for supporting Rebekah during her treatment journey. Here are some more details, so as you browse the calendar its easier to understand how and when to help. Feeding the Osypians: Please try to order out or store-bought if possible to ensure food is cooked properly and safely. Some foods that are especially appreciated include: • Soups and broths • Smoothies with protein • Greek yogurt • Eggs • Salmon or other fish • Chicken or turkey • Hummus and pita • Avocado • Olive oil-based dishes • Lentils, beans, and chickpeas • Fresh fruit • Roasted or steamed vegetables • Rice, quinoa, and other simple whole grains Because treatment can cause nausea and changes in taste, smaller portions and simple, lightly seasoned meals are often easiest to tolerate. Cold or room-temperature foods can also be helpful. For family meals, please note: • No pork, please. • Avery prefers tomatoes served on the side whenever possible. Please don't worry about making anything elaborate—simple, nourishing meals are perfect. Most of all, thank you for helping care for Rebekah and her family during this time. Your meals, encouragement, prayers, and support are deeply appreciated and make a meaningful difference. For takeout: Luna Grill, Harumama Ramen, and Senor Grubbys Kids love Raising Cane's, In-N-Out, and Chick-fil-A
