Meal Train for LWJ

Saint Louis, MO

Story

I never in a million years thought I would be doing one of these, but here we are. On February 8th, 2024 I learned that I have Invasive Ductal Carcinoma. After biopsies, blood work, and an MRI it was confirmed that my breast cancer is Stage 2 Triple Negative. What a blow---- I am still processing all of the feelings that come with this while also trying to "be normal" (whatever that means). On Friday, February 23rd we learned that I will require chemotherapy (roughly 16 rounds). For anyone interested, the protocol for this type of cancer is called Keynote-522. I have done a lot of reading, a lot of crying, and a lot of trying to convince myself that I won't need to ask for help. However, after talking to everyone I know, people I don't know, and people in general... I know that isn't realistic, so again, here we are. I will be doing chemo on Fridays. I am looking for some help with meals, especially on the weekends. I appreciate any and all support. Thank you for any help and support from the depths of my heart.

Special Notes

There are no dietary restrictions. Porch drop-offs are great, but please if you drop off a dish label it or use materials that can be kept, recycled, or thrown away. I would hate to not return someone's dish.
