Because we lost our stay at home dad (along with our husband / father / soul mate / would do absolutely anything for any of us person), and it's a lot. We lost our Dan, our Papa, our rock. Sebastien (16), Lilla (12), and I are looking for our friends' and family's help while we work to establish a new normal. We know this journey won't be easy nor quick, but we will do our best to honor his loving legacy.
I think right now less is more for the kids. I appreciate the occasional visit, but the kids are looking for peace at home so I'm trying to balance my needs and theirs. Sebastien gets up at 5am for school so we all go to bed early and try to eat before 6pm.
