After three brain surgeries, my father-in-law is battling cancer and unable to work. The recent earthquake in Borbon forced the family to live outside, without water or income. Please help us cover his medical costs and rebuild their homeOur beloved father-in-law is bravely fighting brain cancer. He has already undergone three brain operations, and although he continues to fight with courage, he can no longer work as a builder for the next four months while he recovers. He and his family live in Borbon, in a small one-bedroom home that he built himself on a little piece of land. Sadly, after the recent earthquake, their home was damaged, and the fear of aftershocks has forced them to live outside by the roadside, unable to return to safety inside their home. To make things even harder, there has been no running water in Borbon for quite some time, making daily life extremely difficult. His wife, who usually works selling food at the local school, has been unable to work because the school is closed due to the earthquake. With both parents out of work and medical bills mounting, the family is struggling to afford even the basics. The cost of his medication and treatment has been a heavy burden — all of it must be paid for privately, and it is very expensive. Despite all of this, they continue to face each day with strength and hope.
