Meredith and Connor are incredibly grateful for the love, prayers, and support they've already received from their family, friends, and community. This summer, Connor spent about a week in the hospital with an unexplained illness. During testing, doctors discovered a small, benign brain tumor unrelated to his illness. After meeting with a neurosurgeon at KU, it was recommended that the tumor be removed while Connor is young and healthy. **Connor is scheduled to undergo brain surgery on Wednesday, October 14, at KU.** Following surgery, Connor is expected to spend a few days in the hospital before returning home to recover. He'll need approximately two weeks of rest, with restrictions on driving, lifting, and other activities. Meredith will be working from home while caring for him, and their family will be helping care for their girls. We're organizing this Meal Train to help take one thing off their plates during this time. Providing meals will allow Meredith and Connor to focus on healing, spending time together, and caring for their family. **Meal Delivery Schedule** - **October 14–17:** Meals will be delivered to Meredith's parents' home, where the girls will be staying while Connor is hospitalized. - **October 18–29:** Meals will be delivered to Meredith and Connor's home as Connor continues his recovery. Whether you're able to provide a home-cooked meal, arrange a delivery, or simply keep their family in your thoughts and prayers, every gesture of kindness is appreciated. Please continue praying for Connor's successful surgery and recovery, wisdom and steady hands for his medical team, peace for Meredith and Connor, and comfort and reassurance for their girls. **Thank you for surrounding this family with so much love and support!**
Meal Preferences: The Brennan family would appreciate simple, kid-friendly meals that everyone can enjoy! Familiar family favorites are always a great choice. Visitors: To allow Connor plenty of time to rest and recover, visits will be limited during this time. If you're dropping off a meal, please plan for a quick delivery rather than a visit. The family is so grateful for everyone's love, support, and understanding!
