Support for the Newton Family

Story

Steve, my best friend and partner, was in a devastating E-scooter accident Friday night that has turned our world upside down. He was rushed to the ICU with multiple injuries: a brain bruise, skull fracture, damage to his carotid artery, brain bleeding, broken collar bone, and broken ribs. The situation was critical, and he underwent emergency surgery that night. Thankfully, he has recovered well from the surgery, but there is brain damage, and we are waiting each day to see how it will affect him. Steve is currently sedated and resting, and we are hopeful for his long road to recovery. Doctors say initial recovery could take months to a year, and every day brings new challenges and uncertainty. This accident has been incredibly hard on our family. The boys are coping, but it’s a struggle for them, and I am doing my best to hold everything together—splitting my time between Steve and the boys. Steve is my best friend, my love, and my everything. The emotional toll is immense, and the financial burden is growing as medical bills pile up. We are asking for help to cover these expenses and support Steve’s recovery, so we can focus on his healing and the well-being of our family. All I ask now is if you can please send positive thoughts and prayers our way—we really need them. Any support for Steve and our family means the world to us. Thank you for being here and for caring about Steve’s journey.
