Dave Surline has been diagnosed with Stage 4 Melanoma. Many questions are yet to be answered - there will be more tests and a course of action will be determined, treatment is scheduled to begin at the beginning of September. Dave's wife, Sarah, will periodically update this page so that those who love them can remain informed. The Surline Family (Sarah, and kids: Josh and Jess) are so grateful for the many offers of meals, assistance, and donations that have been pouring in. This page will attempt to keep everything in one place: There is a calendar to sign up for meals (and in the future may include other needs), Sarah will update us on Dave's journey as she is able, there are opportunities to donate via the GoFundMe link, and a place to leave messages for Dave, Sarah, and the kids. PLEASE READ! - When clicking on a date further instructions are located under two tabs: "Description" and "Delivery Instructions", all info is there! - Dietary: Currently NO RESTRICTIONS. If questioning "spice levels" MILD is appreciated. Be sure to fill out what you are planning to bring in the sign up. - Drop off between 3-6pm on the day you've chosen, TEXT SARAH the day prior to confirm details, please deliver to the back door. - Please consider using dishes that do not need to be returned, Ziploc-type containers/bags, foil pans, etc. If you are leaving a dish to be returned, label and arrange for pick up with Sarah. Include any necessary reheating instructions, etc. - Gift cards are also helpful! Meijer and Aldi can be emailed ([email protected]) or mailed to their address. - Restaurant gift cards are welcomed - any in the area are appreciated. - When signing up you will have the option to choose "drop off" or "send" a meal for the day you choose. Please coordinate with Sarah if ordering on their behalf. - Please contact Sarah directly if you'd like to offer support for Jess while she is at school. - At this time the sign-up is going through November, these details may change in the future.
