Addison Shay was born May 21st and has brought so much joy to all her family and friends. Unfortunately she has had some struggles eating and losing weight. After being in the hospital the past few days with a feeding tube, Addi has started having episodes of respiratory distress and is currently on a ventilator to help her body heal and help her medical team run tests to find the answers for our sweet girl! Shaina had a c-section and is currently trying to heal herself while also going back and forth to the hospital. What should be a joyous time for Shaina and Alex has become a time of stress, fear, and a ton of unknowns. Lets help alleviate some of their stress so they can focus on their sweet baby girl ❤️
Shaina and Alex spend most of their time at the hospital with Addi and don’t get home until later in the evening. If making meals it would be easiest to have meals that can be refrigerated or frozen to reheat when they have time. Otherwise donations for gas to transport back and forth or giftcards to eat out while they are at the hospital would be amazing! If you can’t donate with meals or donations please say prayers. Shaina and Alex have fought so hard to have baby Addi and now they are fighting to keep her!
