Jessica’s Story This Christmas season, our community is rallying around an incredible person Jessica whose strength and courage continue to inspire everyone who knows her. Just a short time ago, Jessica received the devastating news that she had pancreatic cancer. After careful consideration her medical team recommended surgery to remove the tumor. With her husband and children by her side, Jessica traveled to Denver for the procedure, holding onto faith, hope and determination. The good news is that the surgeons were able to successfully remove the cancer. But the days that followed have been unexpectedly difficult. Jessica developed serious internal bleeding and has spent the last three days in the ICU, surrounded by medical teams working around the clock. Doctors now believe she will need an additional surgery to stop the bleeding and stabilize her condition. While her family remains steadfastly by her side, the emotional, physical, and financial weight of this crisis has taken a heavy toll. With Christmas quickly approaching, everyday life has been put on pause as they focus on supporting Jessica through these critical days. We are starting this page to bring a little light into their lives during an unimaginable time. Our goal is to help provide Christmas gifts for Jessica’s children and loved ones so that while their world feels uncertain, they can still feel the warmth, comfort, and joy this season is meant to bring. If you feel moved to help, your kindness will make a tremendous difference. Whether it’s a small gift, a donation, or simply sharing this page, every gesture helps this family feel the love and support surrounding them. Thank you for lifting Jessica and her family up during this season of giving. Your generosity means more than words can express!
