Supporting Michelle Dwyer Recover from Horseback Riding Accident

Lakeville, MA

Story

On Sunday, June 15th, my beloved aunt Michelle Dwyer was in a terrible horseback riding accident. While out riding, an off-leash dog charged and bit her horse, causing her to get thrown off and get caught underneath. Tragically, she was then trampled by the horse she loves so much. Michelle was rushed to the hospital by ambulance and has suffered serious injuries, including a small brain bleed and a severely broken leg that requires surgery to place a rod. After surgery, she will be transferred to the ICU for close monitoring and recovery. Michelle is one of the strongest, kindest people I know. She works hard as a bartender, always smiling, always taking care of others — but now she’s the one who needs help. To lighten the load, once she is home I'm hoping we can all help provide meals and any extra assistance that's needed.
