This year has been extremely difficult for our family, and after trying to handle everything on our own for as long as possible, we have reached a point where we could really use some help. I am disabled and have had several unexpected medical issues and injuries this year that have made things even harder. I have been dealing with ongoing appointments, treatment, physical therapy, pain, and more recently neurological issues that have affected what I am able to do day to day. My fiancé is my caregiver and also tries to bring in extra income through Instacart and other delivery apps. Unfortunately, it has become very difficult for him to consistently make enough through delivery work because he also has to be available to care for me, help with the kids, take me to appointments, and handle many of the things I am unable to do myself. Gig work is also unpredictable, and some days there simply aren’t enough orders available to make what we need. We have four children in our household, and this year we have also been trying to help other family members who needed support. We have continued doing everything we can to make things work, but groceries, rent, utilities, transportation, school expenses, household necessities, and our regular monthly bills have become increasingly difficult to keep up with. Our financial situation is becoming even harder because income we have relied on is ending, while all of our regular expenses are still there. We have cut back where we can and have tried to make up the difference through delivery work, but right now it isn’t enough. I don’t normally like asking people for help, but I created this page because we could really use some support getting through this difficult period. The biggest needs right now are groceries, household necessities, gas, utilities, rent and other essential bills. Anything helps. Whether it is groceries, a meal, a gift card, help toward a bill, or even just sharing this page, we are extremely grateful.
