For those asking my little niece Daviana #davistrong who was born on February 2nd was brought to the er in Bennington this past Sunday the 19th of May due to a mass in her belly that was getting bigger. A few weeks prior the doctors said the mass was just gas due to formula allergy. On Sunday it became obvious this was not just gas. Bennington sent them to Albany shortly after arriving. Albany went into fast mode of blood testing and many scans and reported there was a mass near her kidney that was causing all of her discomfort over the last few weeks. On Tuesday she went in for a biopsy that showed blue cells which means that she has a form of cancer. Since these results she has had more blood work, more testing and just finished a bone marrow test and had a port put in for medications. She will be undergoing treatment to reduce the mass before they attempt to remove it. They are aware the mass has not gone into any other areas within her small little body which is great news. She started chemo on 5/25 and having her second treatment as I write this. We as a family ask that people keep her, her parents David and Cassi Kimball in your thoughts and prayers as well as all of her older siblings as they process this information. Please bring any questions you have to myself for the time being so that they can focus on the doctors and nurses. There has been a go fund me set up as well as an Amazon wishlist to help with items they may need once she is released to go home. Please share these even if you are not able to contribute the word getting to more people is a huge help within itself. There also is a cashapp set up and others are setting up different raffles to raise money as well. Once they return home we are also looking to do a food train to lower the amount they need to focus on for meals for them and Bria as she will also be with them.
