To salute their day-in, day-out valor and commitment, the Friends of the Dallas Police will host its Friends of the Dallas Police Awards Banquet on Friday, November 22, 2024 at the Hyatt Regency Dallas where we will pay tribute to more than 300 officers and employees with special awards. During the banquet, Friends of the Dallas Police honors police officers and non‐sworn employees who have been recognized by the Dallas Police Department in the past year for their strong leadership, courage and exceptional service. Award nominees and winners are selected by the Dallas Police Department’s Meritorious Conduct Board. As we celebrate our 43rd year, we invite you to show your gratitude to the men and women of DPD who so nobly serve by committing a gift donation for this year’s award winners, which is the official awards ceremony for the Dallas Police Department. Our award winners have filled out a survey letting us know of their hobbies, interests, favorite stores and restaurants. The wish list reflects this information and will be used to assemble unique gift packages for each winner and some top award nominees.
