Hi.. My name is Rachel, though I go by Brook, My 1977 dodge titan, which I own and is registered and smogged in my name, she was a non op back in March 2025 but I got it working again and that's when I got it smogged and registered in my name!! Well about a month and a half ago they (the cops, whom have been and were actually very nice, just plain ol' mean ppl who didn't like me parked working on my engine and carburetor to get it going again cause I've had a few people try to steal it from me and have stolen a lot of my belongings so after I managed to get it working again I drove it towards the beach and then the first rain happened and of course, it hydroplanned so they had to tow it but I cannot afford for a third time to get it out of tow.. I've done so much to learn my RV and how to keep it running and yet again it got taken from me rendering me homeless... I am medically disabled, out on the streets all over again.. my RV is my home, I literally live in it and I've lived in it since March 2025 of this year.. I take care of it the very best I can and my gosh I have worked so hard keeping it going and that in fact has kept me going, I take care of my vehicle, my vehicle takes care of me and gives me shelter and sa safe place to lay my head and have the ammenties every human being should have.. I either need a new home (RV or something move-able, or I need to get this one that I own out of the tow yard, which is truly what I'd prefer because I love my RV and I'm just not ready to lose it yet!! UPDATE: 10-19-2025 I've found a place to park it!! Now all I need to do is get it out of the tow yard which is now $2,000, I have until the 21st of this month (October 2025) to get it out!.. There's nothing wrong with it except when I hydroplanned it the front bumper got kind of smashed in and the right front tire came off the wheel well. All I need to do is pay to get it out and then towed to a mechanic shop to get the tire put back on the wheel well and the bumper pulled off from the front end cause it got wedged in a bit from hitting a fire hydrant but that is all easily fixable!! And the money I am asking for will help the cost of getting all of that fixed, and then I can go park it where it will be safe and not get towed hopefully ever again! Lastly, it is smogged and registered in my name, I own the title, I still have the title luckily after everything else has been stolen from me since I've been back on the streets... I don't have family and pretty much no friends anymore, after I showed my kindness everyone just stole everything they could from me.. All of that stuff is just material so whatever I guess but, my RV is what's important, it is my life, my home, my sanctuary and I did everything right when I got it and I don't want everything that I've done to be a lost cause .. Anyway, sorry for the rant, I just need guidance I guess and need to figure out how to get it back. I have asked people on my Facebook and called everyone I could think of but no one has answered or are unable to help ... Getting it out this time around is much more expensive than the last time and the price goes up $55 per day so it was around $3,400 but I got them to lower it to $1,800 but now I only have until October 21st to get it out at that price.. I am still currently on the streets and I am still trying and doing everything I can to get my RV back... So I am also still trying this gofundme thing in hopes that I can raise the money to get it back, I miss having a home and a roof over my head. And I promise I will forever keep doing the right thing and keep giving back to the community, help others, give what I can, volunteer, etc. I believe that there are kind people out there just like myself who wants to help and cares for people down on their luck.. I do know how the world is and how it works . And sometimes people just need some help to keep going..
