Hi, My name is Bridget Coyne and I'm starting this page for my sister, Elizabeth McCavara. Liz delivered the most beautiful baby on September 11th, 2025. She has been the best mom and enjoying her maternity leave. The week of November 10th she started having back pain. After various holistic treatments didn't work and the pain increased she went to the ER with what they thought was a pinched nerve. That quickly changed to numbing of her extremities, paralysis of her face and she was admitted to the ICU. After many tests, doctors believe that she has Guillain-Barre syndrome. She will be in the hospital for at least another two weeks. We have faith that she will be back to herself but it will take some time. Not only does she have a 2 month old baby at home, she will not be able to work for the foreseeable future. We also know that modifications will be needed at her home. We appreciate any support you can give to her and please send all the positive vibes and prayers. Liz is handling all that has come her way with patience and grace.
