As many of you know already my dad is not one to ask for help with anything. And of course I’m doing this without him knowing because I know in the end it anything and everything helps especially in your time of need. A few of you know already but figured it was time to share. My mom has been sick for the past few months and my dad has been out of work for a few months now. On April 30,2025 my mom was sent to the hospital with symptoms of a possible stroke. After many tests and blood work it was confirmed that she has had a stroke. The great news is that she still had the mobility in her left arm, hand, fingers and leg but the mobility of them is slim. She is doing OT, PT and speech therapy to help gain everything back. My dad has been the rock of this family since day one and we are trying our best to help anywhere needed. With a few days in the hospital it has been confirmed that my mother has to have surgery. She goes in for an evaluation on Friday. She is on multiple medications and we are working hard to create a game plan for her when she comes out of surgery. She is on a long long road to recovery and we know with support she will be able to strive. Mom is currently home now and dad is her right hand man. She is needing assistance for everything and dad is right there when she needs it.
