We are reaching out on behalf of Samantha Johnson, who is facing one of the most difficult battles of her life. Early Sunday morning, Samantha passed out and suffered a severe fall that caused three discs in her neck (C5, C6, and C7) to rupture and press against her spinal cord. She was rushed to UAB and underwent emergency surgery to relieve the pressure and stabilize her neck with plates. As a result of this traumatic injury, Samantha now has nerve and spinal cord damage. She is relearning how to walk and working daily to regain feeling in her arms and hands doctors are still searching for answers. She is being discharged today. She is very thankful for that. Neill is going back to work. Im setting this up to make it easier on him. Samantha still isnt able to work or even do the simple things like fix a drink. Thank you for helping.
