As many of you know, Susie had a deep tissue brain bleed and a resulting stroke. She spent five days at Spectrum Hospital and was transferred to Mary Freebed where she is currently in rehabilitation. Each day, a little bit more of Susie is coming back. There are many things that she is able to do but also many things she needs support with. Susie will be release from Mary Freebed July 12th. She is not able to live independently at this time. She will be staying with her sister, Patti Carpenter, as she continues her therapy and recovery. Those of you who know Patti know her kind heart. She didn't hesitate to open her home to Susie and we are lucky to have such a caring sister. During this time, many of you have asked "what can I do". We have created this support site in order to provide ways you could help out if you desire. We are excited for this transition from Mary Freebed and looking forward to a new beginning for Susie. Thank you for all your thoughts, prayers, cards and visits. Susie has a wonderful caring network that will help guide her through this time.
