Loving Father's Cancer Recovery Fund

Story

Ian, a devoted father of two and dear friend to so many, was diagnosed in September 2024 with Multiple Myeloma — a rare form of blood cancer that effects plasma cells in the bone marrow and occurs in less than 1% of the population. For the past year, he has been undergoing treatment while continuing to work and care for his children. While the disease has decreased significantly, his recent test results have begun to plateau, raising new concerns for his doctors and care team. So this November, he begins CAR T Cell Therapy - a groundbreaking treatment where his own immune cells are extracted, re-engineered and programmed to fight the cancer cells once they are infused back into his body. It’s a hopeful step toward recovery, but it also means Ian will be unable to work for an extended period while focusing on his healing. Anyone who knows Ian knows he's a rare soul whose smile brings warmth, comfort and peace to every person he meets. And while he touches the lives of so many people around him, being a father is his most treasured role - his greatest joy. Whether he’s helping with homework, doing Madeline’s hair, cooking with Jalen, attending every school function or just bringing joy through comedy, Ian has been a constant presence of love, support and dedication in his children’s lives. As part of the leading-edge procedure, Ian will be hospitalized for an extended period of time and under 24/7 care so he will be away from his children and family, which will be hard for everyone emotionally, physically and financially… this is why we turn to community support. Ian’s journey is one of courage, love, and unwavering faith and your support makes that journey a little lighter. He’s keeping his spirits high and we're all cheering him on! Ian has always been the first to help others, sharing his kindness and generosity wherever it’s needed. Now it's his turn to receive blessings from community. Together, we can give Ian the same love and support he's shared with so many for so long. Each donation, each message of encouragement, and each prayer truly makes a meaningful difference. Thank you so much for your care and kind contribution. Ian's Recovery Fund - GoFundMe Campaign: https://gofund.me/059e7b173
