Hello everyone! My name is Rebecca and I am the daughter of Tony and Kerry Galcik. I wanted to start this meal train to help them out during a difficult time. My grandparents have been staying with them while they both deal with many health issues. Tony had hip replacement surgery a couple of weeks ago and still has a few weeks of recovery ahead. Kerry is currently in a severe MS flareup and has had to go on IV steroids. She is trying to take care of everyone else in addition to herself. They recently had their hot water tank blow, flooding their laundry room, and dining room area and are currently dealing with the mess of demolition and rebuilding those areas. Needless to say, they can definitely use a little helping hand right now. Mom cooks as often as she can, but it would be nice to be able to give her a break at least 2 to 3 times a week. Sending gift cards to restaurants or things would probably be the easiest. Even grocery cards help. Anything you can do to just ease the burden a little bit on my mom is appreciated. As most of you know, I do not live in Arizona and have been here for the past couple of days to see what kind of needs that they have, but I must return home later today.
