Anchorage, AK

W
Story

Jess is now home. Thank you for your support while new routines are managed.

Special Notes

Dietary restrictions: Fresh fruit, protein, high fiber foods would be great. No MSG (Joanna her mother who is visiting until the 13th is sensitive to it) Jess: Smoothies, Coconut water, ANY PurePress Nutrition Shakes sold at Natural pantry. These have been great while she regains her appetite, immune system and appetite as it's a drinkable meal without a lot of supplements that won't interfere with future blood tests. Trying to focus on protein, low sodium, high fiber foods. Gift cards work too so we can run out and grab something specific when she has an appetite again. Heidi: electrolytes (coconut water), bone broth, avocados, protein shakes, smoothies, unsalted nuts & fruit. She hasn't regained appetite but is going through the motions of eating. JoAnna (Jess' Mom): Can't do MSG and doesn't care for spicy food. Her departure is the night of the 13th. Freya & Sage: muffins, unsalted/unroasted nuts (cashews/pistachios in shell/ nut butters spreads) fruit (blackberries!, tropical fruit?), beets, asparagus , sushi, halibut, shrimp, tuna, steak, bone in chicken thighs, seaweed crisps, noodles (fun shape, ramen, goodles), smoothies and fun snacks. They have discovered their love for cereal (rice crispy, Chex , Cheerios and healthier cereals preferred. No flowers please. Snake plants or an easy house plant would be ok but trying to be responsible for anything else right now is a lot. Costco Gift Cards/Fred Meyer/ Natural Pantry /Rays Place/ Jimmy's Sushi/ Turkish Delight / South Gift Cards - This would help as we figure out what food/items we need and have friends pick it up/set up a delivery of household items/ foods.
