Our friend and neighbor Joe at 2299 Reflections has fallen very very ill with stage 4 cancer and could really use our kindness. Joe is a single dad with twin teen girls. He has been fighting his battle against renal/kidney cancer for over 2-1/2 years which has spread to his lungs and other organs, and unfortunately just learned the cancer has spread to his spine and shattered one of his vertebrae. He had an extensive surgery on Tuesday and it will undoubtedly require months-long recovery, in addition to cancer treatments and the toll that takes on someone. Joe and his girls (Jojo and Jia) could really use our neighborly support in any way you are able. Premade/frozen meals, fresh foods, cases of water, potentially assistance with rides or even cleaning... anything that helps a household run, especially taking care of teens.
