Tony Miller suffered a hemorrhagic stroke on Saturday April 25, 2026. He has been stable with the ability to move all his extremities and answer questions on command, but because of the brain bleed there is swelling in his brain. They have been monitoring him hoping the swelling would go down on its own, but it has not. Tony's doctors decided today, April 27, to perform a left craniotomy for subdural hematoma which is an urgent brain surgery where a neurosurgeon removes a blood clot from the left side of the brain. It involves removing a piece of the skull (bone flap), opening the dura, draining the blood (evacuation), and usually replacing the bone. The surgery went well, he is responding and trying to talk.. not out of the woods but it was very successful. He will stay in the hospital for several weeks as he continues to heal. Providing meals for the family would be a wonderful way to support and show our love for Tony's recovery, taking away some of the stress on the family.
Gift cards are encouraged to create the ease of meal times for the family's different schedules.
