Were a family of 4 and live in dunnellon,fl it's myself jodi husband Aaron and our 2 little girls Chloe grace 11 and Olivia rose 13. We lost our home during the covid pandemic after having to close the doors on our handyman company.we were forced to move into an abandoned home with no family and no place to really call home we struggled to regain our lives back and were climbing up until our recent accident in nov.2024 we were side shipped on the Florida turnpike and hit a concrete barricade at 70mph thankfully we walked away but not without receiving severe injuries and the other vehicle kept driving we have applied for public assistance only to be told its processing and it's been over a month I'm exercising every avenue I can think and I'm not one to ask for handout or beg for help from strangers i alwsy work for whats mine but I'm at the end of my rope and don't know what to do were starving and could use any help offered!!!! My kids are beginning school with old clothes due to my short commings,their awesome girls that understand life is challenging but it breaks my heart to hear them say I know we don't have a lot but I'm so very hungry. I know some might say go to food bank I'd love to but I drive a 2013 gmc serra that cost me 10$ to start every time I leave my yard I don't have money to go places and to top it all off my husband our bread winner just got diagnosed with severe copd,stage 4 liver disorder,portal hypertension so watching my best friend of 22yrs decline and be bed ridden is very heart-wrenching and so very sad so needless to say we are begging for help with anything anyone can spare thank you for reading my story and please understand and pray for us with annunjudgemental heart God bless yall and I'll be praying for others
