This is my second dental surgery and though initially it looked like it was going to be easier than the one in December, complications have come up and it will not be, in fact likely harder. I am having to have some correction done on the original side and then 4 molars removed on the left instead of two because of mineral loss. I will be on a liquid and low texture diet for 4-6 weeks while I heal and with any complications. I am the meal maker in the house and from knowledge of the first surgery I will be down for at least a week. Any help is helpful.
I am going to need to be in a mostly liquid diet for several weeks as I heal and will not be able to chew. I am eating a lot of yogurt and protein shakes. My husband and daughter don’t have any allergies but Shawn doesn’t like beans or corn, and Mari doesn’t like mashed potatoes or that texture.
