As some of you may already know, Eli Leal was involved in an incident Friday night in Abilene, Texas. While golfing with his brother-in-law, Wyatt, a storm rolled in, and unfortunately, Eli was hit by a bolt of lightning. It is only by the hand of God that Eli is with us today. Quite literally a praise Jesus miracle! Eli is currently at UMC in Lubbock. He is surprising all of his doctors and nurses by how quickly he is already on the road to recovery. He will be coming home in the next week as long as things continue to progress as well as they have. We all know what the Leal family has meant to our little town of Muleshoe. The love and service they have poured into our community for so many years has been outstanding! It is only right that we return the favor. With their blessing, we will be setting up a meal train for Eli, Shyann and their kiddos for when Eli gets released to come home. Let’s pour into this family as much as they have poured into us!
