As many of you know, Roxy had an unexpected trip to the ER last week that ultimately led to her needing heart surgery. The wonderful news is that she is on the road to starting her recovery. Her doctors have asked her to take things very easy right now, which means no driving, no heavy lifting, and plenty of time spent resting. We want to make sure she feels completely surrounded by love and support so she can focus entirely on healing and getting her strength back. To help her out over the next few weeks, we are organizing a few practical ways for our community to pitch in. We are looking for friends who can drive Roxy to and from her follow-up hospital appointments, run errands to drop off fresh groceries, and swing by the library to bring her new books to read while she recovers. If you have a little free time to help out with any of these things, please let me know or sign up on the schedule, and thank you so much for being such a wonderful village for her!
