Just a few weeks ago, Jason’s health took an unexpected and very serious turn. After complications from a colon procedure, he spent time in the hospital in critical condition. We weren’t sure if he would make it, but through incredible strength and the care of his medical team, Jason is now home. He has since been diagnosed with non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma, a type of cancer. The road ahead will include treatment, healing, and many adjustments for both Jason and the family. We are so grateful that he is home and able to focus on the next steps in his recovery. To help ease some of the daily stress, we’ve set up this Meal Train to provide meals and support. Every meal given is one less thing Jason and the family have to worry about during this time, and it will mean more than words can express. Thank you so much for keeping Jason in your thoughts and prayers, and for walking alongside him and the family during this season.
Meals are usually for 3 people, but there are often several children and family members around. Extras are always appreciated and will not go to waste — but please don’t feel pressured to cook for a crowd every time. Every little bit helps and is such a gift to the family.
