Hello everyone, As many of you know, my sister, Rose, was recently diagnosed with AML (acute myeloid leukemia). Everything has happened very quickly, and our family is still processing the news while learning what the road ahead will look like. Right now, our focus is on supporting her through treatment, taking things one day at a time, and surrounding her with as much love and strength as possible. We created this page to keep family and friends updated throughout her journey and to help us communicate in one place during this overwhelming time. I’m also organizing this meal train to help support my parents while we all focus on caring for her and being together as a family. Whether it’s a meal, a gift card, prayers, words of encouragement, or simply sharing this page, every bit of support means more to us than we can express. Thank you all for loving Rose and standing with our family during this difficult season. We will continue to share updates here as we are able.
Your kindness in offering a meal is greatly appreciated. Our family would also be blessed by gift cards to Walmart or Kroger where my mom typically does her grocery shopping. Being at Children’s with Rose, it would help my siblings to shop in her stead. It will be quite the adjustment commuting from Indiana to Children’s.
