Sometimes life changes in a matter of minutes. On September 8th, our neighbors and dear friends Brad and Clifton experienced something no one should ever have to go through — their home caught fire. Thankfully, Brad and Clifton, along with their two beloved dogs, made it out safely. For that, we are incredibly grateful. But while they are safe, they are now facing the heartbreaking reality of losing their home, their belongings, and the sense of security that comes with having a place to call home. Anyone who knows Brad and Clifton knows exactly the kind of people they are. They are kind, generous, loving, and always willing to help others. They have the biggest hearts and have been the kind of neighbors you feel lucky to have. Now, it’s our turn to be there for them. I’m creating this GoFundMe on behalf of Brad and Clifton because right now, they have more than enough on their plate. They are trying to process what happened, take care of their dogs, figure out where they will stay, work through insurance and everything that comes with losing a home — all while dealing with the emotional weight of it all. We want to take some of that burden off their shoulders. ❤️ Where Your Donations Will Go Every donation will help Brad and Clifton navigate the immediate and long-term expenses that come with this devastating loss, including: Temporary housing and living expenses Clothing, shoes, toiletries, and personal necessities ️ Food, groceries, and meals while they are displaced ️ Replacing furniture, household items, and everyday essentials Food, supplies, veterinary care, boarding, and other needs for their two dogs Gas, transportation, and other unexpected expenses Storage, moving, cleanup, and fire-related expenses Rebuilding their lives and replacing the things they need as they move forward We know money cannot replace the memories, belongings, and home they lost. But together, we can help give them something they desperately need right now: a little breathing room. We can help make sure they have a safe place to sleep, food on the table, clothes to wear, and the basic necessities they need while they figure out what comes next. Most importantly, we want Brad and Clifton to know that they are not alone. They have a community behind them. They have neighbors who care. They have friends who love them. And they have people willing to stand beside them during one of the hardest moments of their lives. If you are able to donate, no amount is too small. If you can’t donate, please consider sharing this fundraiser. A simple share can reach someone who is able to help. And if you’ve been wondering how you can help beyond donating, we will also be organizing a Meal Train to help provide meals for Brad and Clifton while they work through everything. Thank you to everyone who has already reached out, offered a helping hand, checked on them, or simply kept them in your thoughts. Your kindness means more than you know. Let’s show Brad and Clifton the same love, kindness, and generosity they’ve shown so many others. Together, we can help them get through this and begin rebuilding their lives — one day at a time From all of us who love and care about Brad & Clifton, Your 6 Creeks Community❤️
