On Friday, July 18th, our dear witty, sarcastic and loveable friend, Justin Leflar woke with some concerning symptoms, which led him to the emergency room. After a series of tests, his doctors discovered a golf ball-sized tumor behind his right eye that needed to be removed ASAP. And by the Grace of God, the neurologist on call at the time happened to be the best doctor in the region for his specific type of surgery. So, the next day, he underwent a 6-7 hour brain surgery to remove the tumor. Thanks to God's provision, his skilled medical team, and countless prayers, his doctor was able to remove the entire tumor. Though Justin made it through the surgery like the boss he is, he's got a long healing journey ahead of him and will need all of our support. As of Wednesday July 30th, he received the best news so far, his case manager at Johnson County Rehabilitation signed off for him to return home with outpatient rehab!!
