Story

Wrapping the Pittman Family in Love and Support Dear Friends and Family, The Pittman household is going through an incredibly tender and challenging season as they navigate home hospice care. During this difficult time, let us come together to wrap them in love and support. Our goal is to take dinner off their daily to-do list so they can focus entirely on spending precious time with Ralph and making him comfortable.I f you feel led to help, there are two wonderful ways you can ease their burden and bring comfort to their home: Fast Food and Grocery Gift CardsGift cards are an enormous blessing for the family right now. Their grandson, who lives with them, has autism and navigates severe food aversions. Gift cards allow the family to easily maintain his comforting routines and pick up exactly what he needs. Favorite Fast Food: Taco Bell, Zaxby’s, Wendy’s, or McDonald’s Groceries and Essentials: Walmart or Kroger Prepared Home-Cooked MealsIf you would like to cook a meal, the family deeply appreciates simple, cozy comfort foods. What they love: Fried chicken, hamburgers, mac & cheese, mashed potatoes, grilled cheese, and warm soups (specifically chicken noodle or smooth tomato soup). Dietary requests: To keep things easy for everyone's digestion, please completely avoid onions, pastas, and whole tomatoes (smooth tomato soup is perfectly fine!).
