Story
Colby and Miranda are Welcoming TWINS! 🩷🩵 Amid the joy and anticipation, some unexpected challenges have arisen on their journey. At Miranda’s 21-week anatomy scan, doctors discovered that her cervix was preparing for labor too early. To help give the babies more time to grow, they performed a cerclage procedure. While the procedure was initially successful, Baby A’s (Mina’s) amniotic sac ruptured shortly afterward, resulting in leaking fluid. This complication shifted everything for the Minze family. Miranda has now been admitted to Children’s Memorial Hermann Hospital, where she will remain on bedrest until delivery. Her care team is closely monitoring both her and the twins. The goal is to make it to 30 weeks, with doctors evaluating progress in two-week milestones and adjusting the plan as needed. The Minzes are celebrating each small victory, but this new reality has brought significant emotional, physical, and logistical challenges. Their journey is far from over—but they are walking it with faith and hope. This page is a call to their village—your support means the world. Prayers, meals, encouragement, or donations are all welcome as we surround the Minze family with love during this season.
